Why people come to us

It’s never really about the glasses

It’s the moment you reach for them. Patients describe the same handful of things, over and over:

  • Waking up and seeing the clock
  • Swimming without contacts, golfing without glasses
  • Travelling without a case, a bottle and a backup pair
  • Reading a menu without readers
  • Driving comfortably at night
  • Seeing your children and grandchildren clearly

What we offer

Every option, with the price on the page

Most practices publish one procedure and quote the rest by phone. Here’s the full range and what it typically costs, so you know where you stand before you spend an afternoon finding out.

LASIK

Best for: freedom from glasses and contacts

The most established laser procedure. Most people are back to normal life within a day or two.

$5,000–$6,000 both eyesFrom about $104/mo per eye with approved financing

ZEISS SMILE

Best for: flapless laser correction

Laser correction through a small incision, with no corneal flap.

$5,000 both eyesFinancing, HSA and FSA accepted

EVO ICL

Best for: people who aren’t ideal laser candidates

An implantable lens that leaves the cornea untouched. Corrects a wider range than laser, and can be removed. Approved from age 21.

$9,000 both eyesFrom about $189/mo with approved financing

Lens replacement (RLE)

Best for: 45+ wanting less dependence on glasses and readers

Replaces the eye’s natural lens with an advanced lens. Restores range, and removes any future cataract.

$12,000–$14,000 both eyesRange reflects the lens technology

Cataract surgery

Best for: restoring vision affected by cataracts

Insurance covers removing the cataract. The lens that replaces it is the choice worth thinking about.

Standard $1,100/eye · vision correction $3,000–$7,000/eyeOut-of-pocket, above what insurance covers

Not sure which applies to you?

Best for: most people, honestly

Which of these fits your eyes is decided by measurements — corneal thickness, your prescription, the health of the eye — not by reading a web page. Ask us and we’ll walk you through it.

Prices are typical out-of-pocket ranges at Clear Vision Center, confirmed at your consultation. They are not a quote. Financing, HSA and FSA options are available. Which procedures are available to you is determined by examination and testing.

Before you ask

Questions people send us

How do I know which procedure is right for me?
You don’t, and neither does a website. It comes down to measurements — corneal thickness and shape, your exact prescription and how stable it’s been, your tear film, the health of the eye. That’s a 60–90 minute exam. What we can tell you before then is what the options are and what they cost.
What does the consultation cost?
Vision-correction consultations — laser, EVO ICL and lens replacement — are complimentary. A cataract evaluation is different: a comprehensive 1.5–2 hour medical exam billed to your insurance (or $300 self-pay), because it involves the full diagnostic workup.
Does insurance cover any of this?
Vision correction is elective, so insurance doesn’t cover laser, ICL or lens replacement — but HSA and FSA dollars can be used, and we offer financing. With cataracts, insurance covers removing the cataract itself; the upgrade to an advanced lens is out of pocket.
I was told I’m not a LASIK candidate. Is that it?
Not necessarily. LASIK, SMILE and PRK all have different corneal requirements, and EVO ICL doesn’t involve the cornea at all. Being ruled out for one doesn’t rule out the rest. Bring your previous records if you have them — it saves repeating tests.
What happens after I request information?
A member of Dr. Vrabec’s team gets in touch to answer your questions and send you the details for whatever you’re interested in. No obligation, and no pressure to book anything on the call.
